Leo is the Senior Project Manager working on the CAP Network Project. He is an experienced Agrifood Innovation Professional with an expertise in fostering relationships with agrifood industry stakeholders such as farmers, researchers, corporates and startups. He has worked in a broad range of roles in the agrifood sector, both nationally and internationally, including agricultural consultancy, agricultural research and agritech innovation. Leo holds a BSc in Agricultural Science from University College Dublin and an MSc of Innovation from University of Galway.
Claire is a Project Officer at ERINN Innovation, working primarily on the CAP Network Ireland project. She developed an interest in Bioeconomy and agriculture while completing her BSc in Sustainability and Environmental Sciences at University College Dublin. She has previously worked in national Bioeconomy Research Centres and agro-ecological EU Projects. She has experience in ecological research, workshop co-ordination and data analysis. Claire has a passion for enhancing sustainable development within the Irish agricultural sector through effective communication, collaboration and knowledge transfer.
Laureen is a Project Officer at ERINN Innovation, working on the BlueRemediomics and GuardIAS projects. She holds a BA in Applied Foreign Languages and a Master’s in Sustainability from the University of Grenoble. Her professional experience includes developing environmental education campaigns for a non-profit organisation and working in environmental communication. She is particularly interested in the social aspects of environmental issues and exploring ways to drive behavioural change towards sustainability.
Áine-Lisa is a Project Officer for the Horizon Europe project Cure4Aqua. She holds an MSc in Marine Biology from University College Cork and a BSc in Marine Science from the National University of Galway. With extensive experience working on offshore scientific research vessels, and as a senior feed technician on Australia’s largest prawn farm, she has also contributed to the Aquaculture Remote Classroom (ARC), Europe’s only mobile classroom dedicated to raising awareness of aquaculture among young people. Her work in the marine industry has fuelled her passion for science communication, aquaculture, and global food security.
Shane is a Senior Project Manager at ERINN Innovation, and the Founder and Director of Peatland Finance Ireland. Shane recently won the prestigious Horizon 2020 Green Deal call grant to coordinate the WaterLANDS project, is a Climate Fellow of University College Dublin, and Lecturer in Sustainability and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. With a PhD from Trinity College Dublin which focused on human-wildlife conflict, Shane has enjoyed a varied career in the conservation world, spanning extensive field experience, social investigation, conservation finance and focused lab experience.
As a member of the Communications Team at ERINN Innovation, Eleanor designs high-quality assets to communicate scientific research, which aims to promote a more equitable and sustainable future. After graduating from Trinity College Dublin with a BA in English Literature and History, she completed a second BA in Graphic Design, and a certificate in Art Therapy from the Crawford College of Art and Design in Cork. With a background in the not-for-profit sector, Eleanor is passionate about using design to tell stories that create meaningful change. She strives to amplify the positive impact of the many EU-funded projects that ERINN are involved with in areas such as agriculture, marine biology, peatland restoration and renewable energy.
As a Communications Officer at ERINN Innovation, Laura is passionate about driving sustainable change by amplifying the impact of EU-funded sustainability projects. While studying her BSc. in Marine Sciences at the University of Galway, she developed a love for marine life and sustainability but recognised a gap in knowledge transfer, which motivated her to pursue a Masters in Digital Marketing to drive real change within the industry. Combining her passion for sustainability with experience in digital communications, Laura maximises the reach and impact of these initiatives. Through strategic communications, she helps ERINN support knowledge transfer and innovation across sectors.
Ladina Jeisy is a Project Officer at ERINN Innovation, specialising in the dissemination, exploitation, and communication of scientific research. She primarily works on the SURIMI project, part of the Horizon Europe EU Digital Twin Ocean initiative, and contributes to science communication in other EU-funded projects. Ladina holds a BSc in Applied Social Sciences from the University of Galway, where she focused on marine social sciences. Her professional experience includes conducting research within Ireland’s fishing industry and facilitating marine conservation education through various non-profit organisations and citizen science initiatives.
Brian currently leads the Communications Team, where he supports brand development, digital strategy, and crafts ideas that drive engagement. With over 25 years’ experience as a creative communications specialist, Brian’s expertise in visual communication and his love for storytelling play a key role in advancing ERINN Innovation’s creative vision. Passionate about the environment, Brian believes in the power of innovative, nature-based solutions to bring positive change to communities. He holds qualifications in Creativity, Innovation, and Leadership from UCD Innovation Academy, as well as Environmental Law and Climate Change from The Law Society of Ireland. This diverse background shapes his strategic approach, which he now channels into impactful projects.
Sarah is a Communications Officer at ERINN Innovation, working primarily on the CAP Network Ireland project. She has a BA in English and History and an MA in Journalism, with a background in journalism and content marketing. With an avid interest in environmental issues facing society, Sarah is currently working towards a Masters in Climate Change: Policy, Media and Society.
