ERINN Innovation leads Knowledge Management and Exploitation activities across our portfolio of EU-funded projects, working with partners to ensure that key exploitable results are captured, and transferred to the people and industries who will benefit most.

Following a contract with the Irish Fisheries Board (BIM) in 2019 to transfer commercially relevant aquaculture R&I, the team are now working with agricultural stakeholders as part of CAP Network Ireland, a contract under the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM). ERINN Innovation leads the Network’s Innovation Hub, identifying innovative ideas and solutions and implementing knowledge exchange and transfer activities to accelerate their application ensure the economic, environmental and social sustainability of farming and rural areas.

ERINN Innovation has also collaborated with the Irish Environmental Protection Agency since 2021, to identify key results from their Research Programme and enable their efficient and effective transfer to policymakers and policy actors to assist them in making timely and evidence-based decisions. Our additional supports involve providing strategic advice and delivering training on KT principles.
