Avril is a Project Manager at ERINN Innovation, working on MARBLES, BlueRemediomics, AquaPLAN and GuardIAS, EU-funded projects focused on freshwater and marine biodiversity, microbiology and sustainability. She is involved in the full project lifecycle, from funding proposal development to implementation and exploitation activities to increase the overall impact of projects. With a background in freshwater ecology, she has a BSc in Environmental Biology, MSc in Applied Environmental Science and has previously worked in freshwater resources research, conservation project management and protection of inland waters.
