The MARCO-BOLO project, funded by Horizon Europe, is redefining how Europe monitors and protects marine, freshwater and coastal biodiversity in the face of pollution, development, and climate change. As a key partner in the project, ERINN Innovation plays a pivotal role in driving citizen engagement and public outreach, focusing on raising awareness about marine biodiversity and its critical importance for ocean and planetary health.

Aligned with the EU Green Deal and the EU’s 2030 Biodiversity Strategy, ERINN Innovation leads the development of high-quality communication assets such as animations, infographics, video, articles and the project website, to effectively engage audiences and drive awareness of MARCO-BOLO’s aims and achievements.

Through a comprehensive communication campaign across press releases and social media channels, we engage European citizens, fosters public participation, and creates synergies with related initiatives. By amplifying the project’s reach and raising awareness through engaging content, we strengthen Europe’s role in preserving ocean health and enhances the project’s overall impact.
