The PREP4BLUE project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe program, is laying the groundwork to achieve the ambitious goals of the Mission ‘Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030’ by developing tools, methodologies and guidelines that can be used by Mission-funded projects to engage and inspire Mission stakeholders and citizens alike.
ERINN Innovation leads Work Package 4, which aims to showcase best practice knowledge transfer methodologies, supported by AI digital tools, to ensure innovative solutions are identified, managed and effectively taken up by Mission stakeholders. The knowledge transfer approach deployed in PREP4BLUE is based on our tried and tested methodology, which has been refined over ten plus years.
Additionally, we support the development of a comprehensive database of projects and high-potential innovations tailored to support the Mission’s objectives across Lighthouse sites. Through these initiatives, ERINN Innovation is helping to enhance the impact of Mission-funded research, strengthen collaboration between Mission actors and ensure that the ambitious goals of the Mission are realised.
