Karla is a Communications Officer at ERINN Innovation, where she supports communication, dissemination, knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement across European research and innovation projects. She combines project management experience with strategic communication and digital engagement to help maximise the impact of collaborative research initiatives, particularly within Horizon Europe.
She holds a BSc in Biological Sciences and an MSc in Biodiversity: Conservation and Evolution, as well as a Master’s in Digital Communications and Marketing. She also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Transformation and Leadership at Technological University Dublin, further strengthening her expertise in digital innovation and strategic communication. She is especially interested in work that contributes to a more sustainable and equitable world through creative communication, citizen science, and storytelling.
