Knowledge Transfer: Build a Valuable Network
Effective knowledge transfer needs careful guidance, stewardship and targeted actions. ERINN Innovation can support you fully with your knowledge transfer strategy.
ERINN Innovation: Your Knowledge Transfer experts
ERINN Innovation is Europe’s leader and champion for enabling and accelerating impact from research. We ensure that new knowledge is shared with the right person, at the right time, in a way that will maximise positive impact upon society.
Communicating research results is not enough. Scientific findings with innovation potential need to be identified, evaluated, and targeted in an accessible way to users who can apply this new knowledge to achieve impact.
Experience
Building on over a decade of experience, our proven Knowledge Transfer methodology has helped clients and project partners to achieve tangible impact from research results through their transfer to industry, policy, decision makers and society.
ERINN leads Knowledge Management and Exploitation activities across our portfolio of EU-funded projects, working with partners to ensure that knowledge outputs are collected, shared and transferred to the people and industries who will benefit most. Our Knowledge Management and Transfer strategies have been developed and implemented in more than 30 EU-funded projects.
Since 2019, we have worked closely with the Irish Seafood Development Agency (BIM) providing Knowledge Transfer Services. Through our partnership with BIM, ERINN facilitated the transfer of commercially relevant and innovative aquaculture research and development outputs from research providers to the Irish aquaculture industry, enabling its development and evolution. More than 200 individual units of knowledge were discovered and described before being reviewed and evaluated by industry experts to prioritise transfer activities.
We have collaborated with the Irish Environmental Protection Agency, since 2021, to identify key exploitable results from their funded projects and enable their efficient and effective transfer to policymakers and policy actors to assist them in making timely and evidence-based decisions.
Knowledge transfer is an understanding of what information is of critical importance to your project, the networks and structures that exist to share this knowledge, and how best to reach the groups that will most benefit from this knowledge.
