Innovation services and research support

We offer a comprehensive suite of services designed to assist you throughout the research lifecycle which are organised into four main categories below. Unsure about the type of service you require? Get in touch and we can help identify the best fit for your needs.

Expert Training and Support for Horizon Europe Success

We regularly deliver training courses targeting Horizon Europe (Pillar II) proposal development, Horizon Europe project management and dissemination, communication and exploitation implementation. We draw on knowledge learned from 30 years of experience in funding proposal development as well as a collective participation in over 150 projects across the European funding landscape.

We work with organisations across Europe to secure funding for innovative projects, building client success from the top-down by providing informed technical support at key stages in the funding procurement process, as well as from the bottom up by critically developing skills, competencies and abilities of individuals and teams to be competitive in drawing down grant funding.

Tailored Training for Impactful Proposals

Based on our extensive experience with the EC Horizon programmes, including the support we have provided to over 100 Horizon Europe proposals over the past 3 years, we have devised a series of focused training courses.

Specifically, we have identified several barriers to success we regularly see and have designed modules to address these, guiding and supporting you on your journey towards Horizon Europe success.  We use a combination of engaging presentations, practical examples, and hands-on interactive exercises to provide a user-centred and outcome focused experience.

Proven Expertise Across EU Funding Programmes

Our extensive project portfolio includes experience across Horizon Europe, H2020, EMFF, and LIFE programmes. We offer a tried-and-tested Knowledge Management model to support you in all areas of research and EU funding proposals. Find out more about our Knowledge Transfer processes and our strategic approach to the exploitation of research results in the next section.

Knowledge Transfer: Build a Valuable Network

Effective knowledge transfer needs careful guidance, stewardship and targeted actions.  ERINN Innovation can support you fully with your knowledge transfer strategy.

ERINN Innovation: Your Knowledge Transfer experts

ERINN Innovation is Europe’s leader and champion for enabling and accelerating impact from research. We ensure that new knowledge is shared with the right person, at the right time, in a way that will maximise positive impact upon society.

Communicating research results is not enough. Scientific findings with innovation potential need to be identifiedevaluated, and targeted in an accessible way to users who can apply this new knowledge to achieve impact.

Experience

Building on over a decade of experience, our proven Knowledge Transfer methodology has helped clients and project partners to achieve tangible impact from research results through their transfer to industry, policy, decision makers and society.

ERINN leads Knowledge Management and Exploitation activities across our portfolio of EU-funded projects, working with partners to ensure that knowledge outputs are collected, shared and transferred to the people and industries who will benefit most. Our Knowledge Management and Transfer strategies have been developed and implemented in more than 30 EU-funded projects.

Since 2019, we have worked closely with the Irish Seafood Development Agency (BIM) providing Knowledge Transfer Services. Through our partnership with BIM, ERINN facilitated the transfer of commercially relevant and innovative aquaculture research and development outputs from research providers to the Irish aquaculture industry, enabling its development and evolution. More than 200 individual units of knowledge were discovered and described before being reviewed and evaluated by industry experts to prioritise transfer activities.

We have collaborated with the Irish Environmental Protection Agency, since 2021, to identify key exploitable results from their funded projects and enable their efficient and effective transfer to policymakers and policy actors to assist them in making timely and evidence-based decisions.

Knowledge transfer is an understanding of what information is of critical importance to your project, the networks and structures that exist to share this knowledge, and how best to reach the groups that will most benefit from this knowledge.

Your Partner for Winning Proposals and Successful Projects

Grant writing services are useful but a research and innovation partner is better. As experts in all stages of project design and implementation, our guidance will help you to maximise your chances of creating a winning proposal that will also become a successful project.

Proposal development: Your guides for developing winning proposals

We have the skills, knowledge and capacity to provide support at various stages of proposal development, including guidance on concept, project structure, consortium considerations, how to approach the Impact section and how to create a strong proposal overall. We believe that engaging with coordinators early in the proposal development phase enables us to provide better support leading to stronger proposals.

Through our hands-on proposal management service, ERINN Innovation offer expert support at all stages of the proposal lifecycle (exploration, formation, application, finalisation and submission). With experience across diverse EU funding programmes (Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020, FP7, EMFF, EIC Accelerator and Pathfinder, LIFE, Interreg, ERASMUS+), our guidance will help you to maximise your chances of creating a winning proposal that will also become a successful project.

With an emphasis on Horizon Europe Pillar II applications, our proposal support services include Training, Proposal Review and Proposal Management. We live and breathe European research proposals, making it our speciality, and cutting down on the time needed to perfect your proposal. Our standard proposal review offer is outlined below. We can adapt the offer to match your specific needs and requirements, please get in touch for more information.
