Áine-Lisa is a Project Officer for the Horizon Europe project Cure4Aqua. She holds an MSc in Marine Biology from University College Cork and a BSc in Marine Science from the National University of Galway. With extensive experience working on offshore scientific research vessels, and as a senior feed technician on Australia’s largest prawn farm, she has also contributed to the Aquaculture Remote Classroom (ARC), Europe’s only mobile classroom dedicated to raising awareness of aquaculture among young people.
Her work in the marine industry has fuelled her passion for science communication, aquaculture, and global food security.
